Garage Services near Merry Hill

Merry Hill shopping centre is about three-quarters of a mile north of our workshop, so a lot of customers pair their car's MOT or service with a trip to the shops. Leave the car with us on Mount Pleasant, get a lift or take a short walk up to the centre, and we will ring you when it is done.

The whole Merry Hill area — the shopping centre, the Waterfront offices and bars beside the canal, and the retail parks along Pedmore Road — was built on the site of the old Round Oak steelworks, which closed in the early 1980s. Today it is one of the busiest pieces of road in the Black Country, especially at weekends and in the run-up to Christmas.

That traffic shows up in the cars we see. Crawling round car parks and queueing on the roundabouts by the centre means a lot of low-speed, stop-start miles: hard on clutches, brakes and diesel particulate filters. If your DPF light keeps coming on after short trips to the shops, that is something we can look at and explain.

People who work at Merry Hill or the Waterfront also use us because we are close enough to drop off on the way in. Tell us your shift times when you book and we will try to have the car ready for when you finish.

We are an independent garage in the Bosch Car Service network, a DVSA MOT test centre, and we have been working on local cars for over ten years. You get a straight answer about what your car needs and a price before any extra work starts.

From a quick MOT to a full service, brake pads, a clutch or a warning light that will not go away, we can help. Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Book online or call 01384 936310.
