MOT, Servicing & Repairs in Brierley Hill

Brierley Hill Auto Centre is based at 14 Mount Pleasant in Brierley Hill itself — our garage is a genuine local business serving the community we work in. For Brierley Hill residents, we are a short journey from wherever you are in town: no significant drive, no motorway detour, and a team that sees many of the same customers year after year for their annual MOT, service, and anything that comes up between times.

Brierley Hill sits at the heart of the Black Country, and Merry Hill shopping centre on the southern edge of town is the area's major retail hub. The town centre itself remains a working commercial area with its own character — independent shops, local businesses, and properties from the industrial heritage that built the area. Mount Pleasant is a well-known local street, and our workshop is accessible and familiar to anyone who knows Brierley Hill.

The vehicles we see from Brierley Hill itself cover a genuine cross-section: family cars from residential streets and housing estates, working vans from local tradespeople and small businesses, diesel estates from people commuting daily into Birmingham or further afield, and a steadily growing number of hybrid and electric vehicles. MOT testing, servicing, diagnostics, and timing belt and chain replacement work make up the core of our daily workload.

Dudley is immediately adjacent to Brierley Hill to the east, and our location means we serve both towns without any sense of geographic distance — you could say we are in the Brierley Hill and Dudley area interchangeably. Merry Hill shopping and the neighbouring industrial and retail parks create a significant employment and commercial hub that brings vehicles from across the Black Country into our workshop.

Being a local Brierley Hill garage means we have the accountability that a neighbourhood business should have. If anything is not right after a job, you are minutes away and can speak to us directly — not a call centre. We deal with any issue in person, at the workshop, without escalation procedures. That is one of the practical advantages of an independent over a franchise chain.

We carry out the full range of work that a Brierley Hill household or business vehicle needs: MOT Class 4 testing, interim, full and major services, timing belt and chain replacement, clutch and gearbox work, brake and suspension repairs, diagnostics, DPF and EGR work, tyre fitting and tracking, air conditioning regas, and general mechanical repairs.
